How rankings, scores, and tiers work on Model Scouting.
Runway Only
All rankings on this site are based on runway shows. Other work that models do — brand campaigns, magazine covers, editorials, lookbooks, etc. — is not considered in any of the rankings or statistics shown here.
Model Score
Every model receives a score based on the runway shows they walk. Each show contributes points calculated as:
Points per show = Brand Q Rating ^ Year Weight
Brand Q Rating reflects the prestige of the brand (0–100 scale). Higher-profile brands contribute more points per show.
Year Weight gives more importance to recent seasons. The current year has the highest weight (2.0) and each prior year decreases by 0.1, so older shows gradually contribute less to a model's score.
A model's total score is the sum of points across all their runway shows.
Sample Calculations
| Show | Brand Q Rating | Year Weight | Points |
|---|---|---|---|
Chanel SS26 | 100 | 2.0 | 100² = 10,000 |
Hermès FW25 | 97 | 1.9 | 97^1.9 = 5,954.79 |
Dolce & Gabbana FW24 | 95 | 1.8 | 95^1.8 = 3,629.97 |
Total Model Score | 19,584.76 | ||
Walking top brands in recent seasons yields the highest scores. The same brand in an older season contributes fewer points due to the lower year weight.
